December 1: “When the Fullness of Time Had Come” (Galatians 4:4)
When we are praying, there are times when we just don’t know why God hasn’t answered yet. We may wonder if God will ever answer our prayer. One very important point we need to understand is that we must never doubt or give up on God. At the right time, at just the right moment, and in just the right way, He will respond.
December 8: “God Regulates the Universe” (Hebrews 11:1-3)
How does a finite human being come to understand the infinite being of God? The only way for a person to get to understand God is to get to know Jesus Christ by faith. When we acknowledge how powerless we are, we need to come to the only Power who can accomplish what we cannot. That is God in Jesus Christ.
December 15: “By God’s Plan, Wisdom and Knowledge” (Romans 11:33)
God’s ways are far beyond our own knowledge and understanding. God created the world, and each one of us with a special and unique plan for our lives. God knows how limited and powerless we are. By His Great power and wisdom He is willing to give each of us the gifts of life. And with these gifts of life, they go right along with the plan He has designed for us.
December 22: “The True Light of the World” (John 1:1-5)
Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. Why would God send His Son to earth to be born of man? Why would Jesus then die a sinner’s death on the cross for something He did not do? Jesus Christ came to give God’s forgiveness from sin, and reveal God’s love for us. He only asks that we accept Him into our lives and live for Him.
December 29: “The Real Reason for Christmas” (Luke 2:17-20)
After Christmast is a good time to reflect on what God has done for us throughout the year. The message of the Angels is that Jesus is your gift this Christmas. Treasuring Christ is something not to be kept to ourselves, but instead we are to make Him known to the world.
